It seems as though I've planned millions of parties, but I believe this one was the most challenging yet! I don't know if it was because of the theme, the fact that the guest of honor was an 8 year-old, that the terrible weather had us postpone the event at the last minute, that it's been years since I've actually watched Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory or that I was collaborating with the birthday girl's over-the-top, creative mother. But regardless, it was definitely an event that was worth ALL the blood, sweat and tears!!! The birthday girl was HAPPY and enjoyed every bit of it, and THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS!
