Arabian Nights 1st Birthday Party

I've been saving and waiting patiently to share my first blog post with something MAGICAL! For those of you who may not know me, I consider myself a stationer, however I love to plan, decorate and put on for special events! I believe the passion started as an excuse to get my family together more often, but I just love to see faces light up after holding in months of surprises!

This magical ride was for a very special person to me, my baby girl Jeree Angelina (pronounced like Jerry). I love to be creative with events, doing things I've never seen done before. So of course I had to start with the invitation, a handcrafted scroll :)

Guests were requested to dress in festive, bright attire.

Now I won't go into play-by-play, but the entire room was filled with everything you could think of Arabian (castles, elephants, lanterns, votives, gold, and jewel-tones! I added in a twist of Aladdin with genie lamps adorned on the kid's tables. The kids sat on colorful pillows and a magical carpet while watching the Magic Show. I believe even some of the adults were quite AMAZED!

I LOVE attention to Details!!! My creative sister, Ashley, captured video clips of the decor!

Of course, a party is never a party without the SWEETS! My dear friend, Joycelin, always makes sure to incorporate my theme into delectable sweets that have the adults craving just as much as the kids!

Over the years of planning parties, I've learned that you can't do it alone. My team worked AWESOME together and I'm so very grateful. I know I probably stressed them out, but I believe it was all well worth it in the END :)
